Between June 24, 2018 and July 2, 2018, many hospitals, schools and civic institutions in Daraa province- south Syria were subjected to aerial bombardment and missiles by the Syrian regular forces and their allies causing complete devastation to some of them and they went out of service while others were destroyed partially.

The doctor Ya'rob al-Zo'ebi, head of the hospitals service of the Health Directorate in the Free Daraa, said in an interview with STJ on July 4, 2018, that the central hospitals in cities and towns of Busr al-Harir, al-Musayfrah, al-Ghariyah al-Sharqiya were subjected to intensive air raids causing their full destruction. In addition, the hospitals in the towns of al-Meliha al-Sharqiya, al-Sura, al-Lajat, Kiheel and al-Giza were suspended because they were damaged partially in the bombardment.

Only two hospitals are still functioning The first one is a small filed hospital located in the neighborhoods of Daraa city and is held by armed opposition factions. The second one is located near Nasib border crossing on the Jordanian border; it is an alternative of the Main Nasib Hospital, the doctor said.

He added that they are making plans to find alternative health centers in the areas still being bombarded by the Syrian regular forces and the Russian aircrafts.

On June 24, 2018, both field hospitals at al-Harak city and the Civil Defense center were exposed to aerial bombardment by warplanes believed to be Russian causing their full devastation. Besides, the hospitals at al-Giza, Saida, Busr al-Harir and al-Musayfrah were exposed to similar raids on June 27. The Civil Defense center published a video footage showing the complete destruction of its center in al-Musayfrah, plus Nabaa News Agency published another video footage showing damage in some hospitals.
