Three lawsuits filed against two former civil defense volunteers (White Helmets) and three locals in Daraa which led to their arrest. As on Oct. 4, 2018, the two brothers Haytham and Malik Barghash, former commanders of the opposition group Liwaa al-Khalifa Omar, were arrested in Damascus under a lawsuit filed by a pro-regime officer’s wife accusing them of his death in the latest battles, knowing that the two Barghash brothers have resolved their status, as the local activist Ahmad al-Haji[1] reported to STJ on Oct. 10.
In a similar incident, the former judge of the Courthouse in Horan Mohammed Ahmad al-Sharif, was arrested while his presence in Damascus for some transactions, by the Criminal Security Branch of Damascus on the 4th of Oct. under warrants issued against him for charges unknown, as the local activist Ahmad Nour[2] reported to STJ on Oct. 10.
The two former White Helmets volunteers, Waseem Ajaj from Daraa western countryside, and Louai al-Dali, from Qunaitra countryside, were also arrested from their houses, on Oct. 9, by intelligence personnel though signing settlements and performing the military service long ago, according to a witness asked for anonymity[3].
More other youths have been arrested in Daraa by the regime forces after retaking the city in July 2018.[4]
