دعوة لوقف فوري لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة وإسرائيل لتفادي كارثة إنسانية ومنع وقوع مزيد من الخسائر في أرواح الأبرياء

لقد شهدنا في الأيام الماضية أعمال قتل ودمار لا يمكن الوقوف على مقدارها في كل من قطاع غزة وإسرائيل، حيث تعرَّض آلاف الأشخاص للقتل، والإصابة، والتهجير في الوقت الذي لايزال فيه نحو مئتي شخص محتجزين كرهائن، بينهم أطفال ومسنون.

ففي قطاع غزة، وبحسب الأمم المتحدة، أدَّى الحصار إلى نفاذ الماء، والطعام، والإمدادات الطبية، وحتى أكياس الجثث. وعلى ضوء ذلك حذَّرت الأمم المتحدة من موت وشيك يتربص بسكان غزة، وخاصة الأطفال منهم، بسبب الجفاف الشديد. كما وشهد القطاع دماراً طال أحياء بأكملها محولاً إياها إلى أنقاض. وفي ظل ذلك، لا يجد الفلسطينيون ملاذاً آمناً يلجؤون إليه، حتى أولئك الذين حاولوا المغادرة من شمال القطاع نحو جنوبه بناءً على أوامر صدرت عن الجيش الإسرائيلي، تعرضوا للقصف أثناء محاولتهم الفرار أو بمجرد وصولهم إلى جنوب غزة.

لقد قادتنا أحداث الأسبوع الماضي إلى شفا كارثة إنسانية، ولم يعد بوسع العالم اليوم أن ينتظر، علينا التحرك وبسرعة، فإنها مسؤوليتنا جميعاً.

من جهته ناشد منسق الأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة يوم الأحد 15 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر جميع أطراف النزاع، والدول الأعضاء ذات النفوذ، الموافقة بشكل عاجل على وقف إطلاق النار لأسباب إنسانية.

اليوم نرفع أصواتنا معاً وندعو جميع رؤساء الدول، ومجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة، والجهات الفاعلة على الأرض، إلى إعطاء الأولوية للحفاظ على حياة الإنسان قبل كل شيء. وخلال وقف إطلاق النار هذا، ندعو جميع الأطراف إلى القيام بما يلي دون قيد أو شرط:

• تسهيل وصول المساعدات المنقذة للحياة إلى قطاع غزة، بما في ذلك الغذاء والإمدادات الطبية والوقود
• إعادة التيار الكهربائي والإنترنت إليه
• توفير المرور الآمن للعاملين في المجال الإنساني والطبي
• إطلاق سراح جميع الرهائن المدنيين، وخاصة الأطفال وكبار السن
• السماح للقوافل الإنسانية بالوصول إلى مرافق الأمم المتحدة والمدارس والمستشفيات والمراكز الصحية في شمال غزة والالتزام بحمايتها وحماية المدنيين والموظفين الموجودين بداخلها في جميع الأوقات
• إلغاء الأوامر الصادرة عن حكومة إسرائيل للمدنيين بمغادرة شمال غزة
• السماح بإجلاء مرضى الحالات الحرجة وتسهيل حصولهم على الرعاية العاجلة
• يجب على مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة والأمين العام للأمم المتحدة وجميع قادة العالم ذوي النفوذ اتخاذ إجراءات فورية لضمان تفعيل وقف إطلاق النار الذي هو خيارنا الوحيد لتجنب المزيد من الخسائر في أرواح المدنيين ووقف الكارثة الإنسانية، وأي شيء أقل من ذلك سيكون وصمة عار على ضميرنا الجماعي إلى الأبد.

المدنيون ليسوا ورقة مساومة. تحتاج العائلات إلى فرصة لدفن موتاهم والحداد عليهم. لا بدَّ من وقف دورة العنف ضد المدنيين الأبرياء.
