{"id":765,"date":"2018-09-19T14:54:39","date_gmt":"2018-09-19T14:54:39","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T21:00:00","slug":"765","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stj-sy.org\/en\/765\/","title":{"rendered":"The Deportation of Regime Loyalists from Akhtarin, Aleppo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The military junta<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\" title=\"\"><sup><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> in <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/%D8%A3%D8%AE%D8%AA%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%8C+%D8%B3%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%E2%80%AD\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x15302722387cc38f:0x7a71131104a91723?sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjH8r-imcLdAhVSalAKHfEcBlYQ8gEwFnoECAYQBw\">Akhtarin town<\/a><\/u>, Aleppo&rsquo;s northern countryside, issued a decision provided for the deportation of regime loyalist to areas controlled by it and the confiscation of properties for those joined the Syrian regular forces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, the local council<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\" title=\"\"><sup><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> banned the travel to the regime-held areas except for urgent treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">18 military junta members agreed on Sep.8, 2018:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" value=\"NaN\">To remove fathers of soldiers and policeman serving under regime, to the areas controlled by it.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" value=\"NaN\">To remove government employees who still recieve salaries from it, besides&nbsp; banning them from the employment within opposition establishments.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" value=\"NaN\">To remove all those declared allegiance to regime.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" value=\"NaN\">Properties of those removed won&rsquo;t be seized, except for those who joint the Syrian Army.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 21.3pt; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/uploads\/files\/%D9%82%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B1%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B3%D9%83%D8%B1%D9%8A.jpg\" style=\"width: 400px; height: 619px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in; text-align: center;\">The deportation decision issued by the military junta of Akhtarin on Sep. 8, 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The military junta has already deported some of the 11 pro-regime Akhtarin locals it detained earlier on Sep. 14, 2018, while the rest are still in question, according to a local source<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\" title=\"\"><sup><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> who testified to STJ on Sep. 17, 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in; text-align: justify;\"><strong>&quot;It wasn&rsquo;t fully proved that the men deported were collaborators with the regime but according to information received by the military junta, they once provided the Syrian government with information on the situation in the liberated areas.
