On June 28, 2018, at least 26 were killed and 40 injured as a result of an aerial bombardment launched by the Syrian regular forces and their allies on towns and cities of Daraa province, the majority of them died in shelling a shelter located in al-Musayfrah town<\/a>, plus the death of a nurse along with a paramedic had been recorded in a previous bombardment.    <\/span><\/p>\n

Doctor Mahmoud Abderrazaq, who is present in the vicinity of al-Musayfrah<\/a>, said in an interview with STJ on June 29, 2018, that the residents of al-Musayfrah displaced completely from it between 25 to 28 of the same month and the majority of them went to the south villages, whereas others proceeded to shelters that are 4 or 5 kilometers from the town. Three of these shelters were targeted by airstrikes. He added:<\/span><\/p>\n

"At 10:20 a.m. on the morning of June 28, 2018, Syrian warplanes launched airstrikes on a cellar (shelter) in the surrounding of al-Musayfrah resulting in the death of 21 people, including 11 children, and the injury of 18, most of them were in critical conditions so they were dispatched to other places. No injuries recorded in other shelters since they had been evacuated before the assault."<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Al-Ihsan Hospital located in al-Musayfrah was fully destroyed due to a previous bombardment with seven airstrikes by Russian warplanes carried out on two days. The hospital staff and the wounded were evacuated to other hospitals outside the town, Dr. Abderrazaq confirmed, and explained that in the entire eastern countryside there were only two non-fixed medical posts with simple potentials because ten hospitals had been already targeted in the area,<\/span><\/p>\n

The doctor added that on June 27, 2018, the nurse Muhannad al-Zo'ebi, at al-Jiza Hospital, was killed as a result of airstrikes while doing his work. In addition, on the 26th<\/sup> of the same month, the paramedic Abdel Hadi al-Hariri was killed in Busr al-Harir Hospital by similar raids.<\/span><\/p>\n

On his part, the local activist Meqdad al-Meqdad who is in Busra al-Sham said to STJ in an interview on June 28, 2018, that a Christian civilian identified as Mansour Naqla at-Touma, who hails from the predominantly Christians village of Kharba<\/a>, was killed in airstrikes by aircrafts likely to be Russian, that targeted the village on the 28th<\/sup>  of the same month. The activist illustrated that Kharba village administratively follows al-Sweida province but militarily controlled by the Syrian armed opposition forces. The administration of the village was left to a local council formed in the village chaired by Wahid Beshara, a Christian as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alternatively, the Syrian Civil Defense posted on its own Facebook account that airstrikes carried out by Russian warplanes hit Dael<\/a> town and caused the death of three persons and injury of 15 others. In addition, other raids hit Nawa<\/a> city, killed two persons and injured around ten others mostly women and children. Another bombardment was on al-Harak and Busra al-Sham, but no casualties recorded. <\/span><\/p>\n

Daraa province is witnessing a ground and air military campaign carried out by the regular forces that managed to take over many towns and cities besides the full siege of al-Lajat area that contains more than a thousand families. The campaign caused a huge exodus estimated 45, 000 people proceeded towards the Jordanian borders.
